Travel Food Report

Not much knitting going on in these parts due to pre-business trip busyness, business trip busyness, and now post-business trip busyness. So a travel food report will have to suffice for now.

Lobster roll and Sam Adams at Robin’s Restaurant, Van Buren, Maine

Chili and donut combo, Tim Hortons Edmundston, New Brunswick

Ploye tasting, Edmundston, New Brunswick

Strawberry ginger lemonade, Cafe Flora at New Brunswick Botanical Garden, St. Jacques, New Brunswick

Breakfast at Auberge du Chemin Faisant, Cabano, Quebec

Another breakfast at Auberge du Chemin Faisant, Cabano, Quebec

Toasted chicken mini, Tim Hortons Cabano, Quebec

Grilled chicken, smoked ostrich, melted Douanier de Noyan cheese, and  avocado sandwich, Le Hobbit, Quebec City, Quebec
Poutine, Chez Ashton, Vieux-Qu├ębec, Quebec

Except for single crocheting a single row on a new potholder the morning of our departure, and buying a new knit-worthy bag, there was zero crafting going on. Didn’t even step in a single knit shop, which turned out to be too out of the way when we had a car, and too far to walk when we didn’t. Seems to have been more of a coastal business, and we were nowhere near the coast.

That’s it for now. Back to deadline central. Perhaps by the weekend I’ll have made a dent in re-organizing my craft room, which at the moment looks like it was at the epicenter of an earthquake.
